Terms of Service

Maililo provides software for connecting your own domain and creating custom business email addresses, managing mailboxes and aliases, reading and sending mail through the mail infrastructure you connect, and viewing DNS setup guidance.

Maililo is a management layer. Your mail is stored and delivered by the mail server infrastructure connected to your account. Maililo does not operate as your SMTP, IMAP or message store unless a connected provider explicitly provides that capability.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account. One person or organisation may maintain one account and may invite members to it.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Maililo.

You may only add a domain that you own or are authorised to manage. We verify ownership with a DNS record before mail features are enabled for that domain. Adding a domain you do not control is prohibited and may result in immediate termination.

You are responsible for maintaining the DNS records we display for your domain at your DNS provider. Maililo is not responsible for mail delivery failures caused by missing or incorrect DNS records.

You may not use Maililo to send or receive: spam or unsolicited bulk email; malware, phishing or fraudulent content; content that infringes the rights of others; or content that is unlawful under applicable law.

You must comply with the daily sending limits of your plan and with all applicable email regulations, including CAN-SPAM and the EU rules on unsolicited commercial email. We may suspend accounts that endanger deliverability for other customers.

Maililo offers a Free plan and paid monthly plans. Paid plans are billed in advance in EUR and renew monthly until cancelled. You can cancel at any time and your plan remains active until the end of the paid period. Prices exclude VAT where applicable.

Plan limits (number of domains, mailboxes, storage and sending volume) are enforced automatically. If you exceed them, you may be asked to upgrade or reduce usage.

We aim to keep Maililo available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance where practical. Mail delivery also depends on your connected mail infrastructure and DNS, which are outside our control.

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these terms, fail to pay amounts due, or use the service in a way that creates legal risk or harms other customers.

Where practical, we will give you notice and a chance to export your data before termination for breach.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maililo is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost messages or business disruption. Our total liability under these terms is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

We may update these terms as the service evolves. If a change is material, we will notify account holders in advance. Continuing to use Maililo after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
